Multiple Bible Versions on iPhone Shortly!
on September 12, 2007 on 6:52 am | In iPhone Bible NewsJust a quick status report: since the server has been upgraded, I can now continue work on adding multiple Bible versions - a feature that everyone has wanted. I did get one person who said I could code and compile on their machine, but we both work long hours and I have not been able to get with him on that. I am now saving money toward a development machine to compile the iPhone Bible as a native app. I intend for the first version to support searching, multiple Bibles, bookmarks, etc. If you want to donate toward this, you could use this: 
. Right now, the Development machine I am looking at is a mini. Update: It turns out that the toolchain has been released for the PPC and linux. I should now have no problem compiling on the iBook now.
Update again: the ibook is in 2 pieces now. heh. Looking toward a new purchase again.
